The heart is a muscular organ found in all animals with a circulatory system (including all vertebrates), that is responsible for pumping blood throughout the blood vessels by repeated, rhythmic contractions. The term cardiac (as in cardiology) means "related to the heart" and comes from the Greek καρδιά, kardia, for "heart."
The vertebrate heart is composed of cardiac muscle, which is an involuntary striated muscle tissue found only within this organ. The average human heart, beating at 72 beats per minute, will beat approximately 2.5 billion times during an average 66 year lifespan, and weighs approximately 250 to 300 grams (9 to 11 oz) in females and 300 to 350 grams (11 to 12 oz) in males.
In invertebrates that possess a circulatory system, the heart is typically a tube or small sac and pumps fluid that contains water and nutrients such as proteins, fats, and sugars. In insects, the "heart" is often called the dorsal tube and insect "blood" is almost always not oxygenated since they usually respirate (breathe) directly from their body surfaces (internal and external) to air. However, the hearts of some other arthropods (including spiders and crustaceans such as crabs and shrimp) and some other animals pump hemolymph, which contains the copper-based protein hemocyanin as an oxygen transporter similar to the iron-based hemoglobin inred blood cells found in vertebrates

Mama Maria Nyerere: No claims over house
The family of the late Father of the Nation, Mwalimu Julius Nyerere has refuted reports that it has plans to protest through demonstrations against demolition of their house located at Magomeni in Dar es Salaam to give way to a new building. The family?s remarks came in response of media reports early this month that the family of the late Mwalimu Nyerere was planning to protest by demonstrating against the demolition of the house or erection of a new building nearby for investment purposes. Speaking on behalf of her mother, Mama Maria Nyerere at the late Mwalimu?s residence in Msasani in the city yesterday Makongoro Nyerere said that the house his father lived in was owned by the colonial government and that his late father and was only a tenant. Makongoro said that in 1959, the late Nyerere built his own house next to the disputed one where he lived in for a period of six months before shifting to another government house located at Sea View also in the city. ?He sold the house he had built at Magomeni to Ambassador Mzee Tibandebage. Therefore the family has no claim on any of the two houses, including the one at Maduka Sita,? he clarified. He said that the late Mwalimu thought it was not a good idea to have two houses and thus he sold it to his friend ambassador. Makongoro said that Mwalimu?s family is delighted to send a word of appreciation to all who participated in the peaceful discussion on the Magomeni house and that whatever views given were all without bad intentions. ?The family recognises that though Mwalimu was the father and a loved leader of the family though out his life, still he was and is the father and leader of many Tanzanians, if not all,? he said.
Lawyers - Five Reasons Why Liyumba Should Walk
Lawyers defending former senior Bank of Tanzania official Amatus Liyumba yesterday advanced at least five reasons why abuse of office charges against him should be dismissed. The lawyers filed a 16-page no-case-to-answer submission at the Kisutu Resident Magistrate's Court, arguing that the prosecution had failed to establish a prima facie (clear) case against Mr Liyumba, who is the former BoT director of administration and personnel.
They argued that their client could not be found liable even if he offered no explanation on allegations levelled against him.

The lawyers cite at least five points why the court should acquit their client without necessarily having to defend himself.
Mr Liyumba has denied two counts of abuse of office and causing the government a Sh221 billion loss, but has been languishing in remand prison since January 2009. He was granted bail, but has failed to raise Sh110 billion to secure his release.

National park
A national park is a reserve of natural or semi-natural land, declared or owned by a government, set aside for human recreation and enjoyment, animal and environmental protection and restricted from most development. While ideas for national parks had been suggested previously, what is held to be the first one established was the United States' Yellowstone National Park, established in 1872. An international organization, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), and its World Commission on Protected Areas, has defined National Parks as its category II type of protected areas. The largest national park in the world meeting the IUCN definition is the Northeast Greenland National Park, which was established in 1974. According to the IUCN, there are about 7000 national parks worldwide.
Malaria
Malaria is a mosquito-borne infectious disease caused by a eukaryotic protist of the genus Plasmodium. It is widespread in tropical and subtropical regions, including parts of the Americas (22 countries), Asia, and Africa. Each year, there are approximately 350–500 million cases of malaria, killing between one and three million people, the majority of whom are young children in sub-Saharan Africa. Ninety percent of malaria-related deaths occur in sub-Saharan Africa. Malaria is commonly associated with poverty, but is also a cause of poverty and a major hindrance to economic development.
Five species of the plasmodium parasite can infect humans; the most serious forms of the disease are caused by Plasmodium falciparum. Malaria caused by Plasmodium vivax, Plasmodium ovale and Plasmodium malariae causes milder disease in humans that is not generally fatal. A fifth species, Plasmodium knowlesi, is a zoonosis that causes malaria in macaques but can also infect humans.

Nyerere is the one who created Mwinyi
read Nyerere's press statement and I was wondering whether Mwalimu Nyerere had died and has just resurrected and found that Mwinyi was his successor and is corrupt.
Nyerere will go down in history as a man who worked so hard to build a nation and then voluntarily handed it over to a bunch of self-seeking, ideologically bankrupt nincompoops. He then watched quietly for 15 years as these people demolished every work he had done.
Why Nyerere chosed Mwinyi out of all the capable people that were available is only clear to him. But it is obvious that the hardliners and revolutionary wing of the Chama Cha Mapindusi were systematically removed either through assassination or exclusion. A natural successor to Nyerere was Dr. Salim Salim, [who was] ideologically closer to Nyerere than any other contender. It still beats reason that Tanzania could afford to "waste" the talents of such a leader (OAU is of course a mere barking dog which never does anything for anyone).
When retiring, Nyerere personally went around Tanzania campaigning for Mwinyi, introducing him to bewildered peasants as "Raisi wangu". Since they trusted him, they went along with it. But soon afterwards the peasantry organized themselves against what they considered the abdication of the ideals of the "Mapinduzi" (against "walanguzi" and other exploiters). The Sungu Sungu and other expressions of peasant disenchantments [were] crushed. Dr. Horace Campbell, then at the University of Dar es Salaam (following the footsteps the late Dr. Walter Rodney), researched these uprisings and tried to publish them. This resulted in his deportation from Tanzania.

Mswati III checks 40000 bare breasted girls
We had Turkmenbashi and his enlightened laws , we heard Karl Rove cry of appreciation when watching the fantastic propaganda of the most precious dear leader Kim Jong Il and elder people will remember a 2 meters tall black dictator Idi Amin Dada as one of the weirdest and most paranoid. But did you know about Mswati III of Swaziland, the second of 210 sons of the elderly King Sobhuza II ? Every year he gets to check out 40000 bare breasted, machete wielding maidens and eventually pick a new wife.
